The Pain: While we champion student curiosity, turning a spontaneous question into a rigorous, assessable lesson is a massive, time-consuming challenge. Inquiry often feels unstructured and disconnected from required standards, leading to teacher anxiety and a lack of student agency strategies.
Our Philosophy: The solution is Ethical Scaffolding. We use AI not to answer the question, but to build the pathways for the student to answer it themselves. Every pathway is intentionally designed to meet a specific Learning Rigor Goal while honoring the student's unique learning preferences.
The Tool: Wonder Web takes a student's question and instantly generates a set of differentiated inquiry pathways. It aligns the investigation to a selected Depth of Knowledge (DOK) level and provides a step-by-step Progressive Inquiry Framework to ensure the learning is rigorous, standards-aligned, and self-directed.

Reasoning Engine (Model): Gemini Flash (Latest). Selected for its superior ability to parse a complex, open-ended question and align the subsequent inquiry steps to a specific cognitive demand (Depth of Knowledge).
Pedagogical Logic (Rigor): DOK/Rigor Alignment. The AI is hard-coded to constrain the inquiry pathways based on the user's selected Learning Rigor Goal (e.g., Recall, Strategic Thinking).
Differentiation Logic: Learning Style Prioritization. The tool generates differentiated pathways (Visual, Kinesthetic, Social, etc.) and provides a final, student-facing Inquiry Contract to formalize the self-directed learning plan.
Privacy: No student data is stored. Inputs are ephemeral. We do not store student questions, output, or build profiles on users or students.
