Write for The Connected Classroom
Perspectives features critical analysis from educators, researchers, and practitioners challenging conventional thinking about AI in education. We publish voices examining how technology affects human development, learning, and the future of teaching.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for evidence-based perspectives that:
Challenge EdTech assumptions - Question whether AI tools serve learning or efficiency
Examine human development - Analyze how technology affects critical thinking, creativity, and moral reasoning
Provide institutional critique - Explore why schools adopt technologies and whose interests they serve
Offer classroom reality - Share what actually happens when educators implement (or resist) AI tools
We do NOT publish:
Product reviews or EdTech promotions
"How to use [AI tool]" tutorials
Generic AI integration advice
Content designed to drive traffic to commercial platforms
We welcome submissions from:
K-12 and higher education practitioners with classroom experience
Researchers studying AI's impact on learning and development
Educational leaders navigating institutional AI decisions
Instructional coaches working with teachers on technology integration
You should have: A critical perspective on educational technology, evidence to support your analysis, and willingness to question popular narratives.
